Mr. Mitic completed his specialist training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at University Hospital Virgen del Rocío in Seville, Spain, qualifying in 2003. He undertook further advanced training in Hand Surgery and Microsurgery at the Hand Surgery Unit of Hospital Virgen de la Torre in Madrid and at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada.

He has held Consultant Plastic Surgery posts at University Hospital Virgen del Rocío in Seville and University Hospital Puerta del Mar in Cádiz, and has worked extensively across both public and private hospitals throughout Spain, including Seville, Cádiz, Málaga, Granada, Madrid, and Ciudad Real. During this time, he was a core member of the Microsurgery and Reimplantation Unit in Seville.

Since 2021, Mr. Mitic has been living and practising in Dublin, working across a number of leading aesthetic clinics.

Mr. Mitic has extensive experience across the full spectrum of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery and has performed over 15,000 aesthetic procedures. His areas of specialist interest include skin cancer, breast surgery and breast reconstruction, body contouring surgery (including abdominoplasty, arm and thigh lift, and gynecomastia), post-bariatric surgery, hand surgery, congenital malformations, burns, pressure sore surgery, rhinoplasty, and aesthetic facial surgery.
